Nelly Furtado: Big Hoops (Bigger The Better) (Official Music Video)

Nelly Furtado has unveiled the video for her new Darkchild-produced single ‘Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)’, the first cut from her fourth English language studio album ‘The Spirit Indestructible’. 

The clips sees the ‘Maneater’ singer towering over awe-struck passers by, as she strolls down an American high street. And man, the North American singer looks piping HOT. 

Whilst we’ve seen her pop up as a featured artist on tracks alongside Timbaland and James Morrison, it’s hard to believe that her last studio album, the  ’Loose’ was released six years ago.

Furtado’s transition from folky pop artist to contemporary urban artist has been done rather well, and ‘Big Hoops’ has enough of a catchy hook to earworm its way in to your consciousness and stay there.

Combined with its drum and bass breakdown and thumping bassline, there is no reason why this shouldn’t do well when it is released on 3 June, with the new album following a fortnight later.
