Marina & The Diamonds: Power & Control (Official Music Video)

The new video from Marina & The Diamonds has been unveiled.

‘Power & Control’ will be the second official single to be taken from the singer’s chart topping UK album ‘Electra Heart’ and the follow up to her highest charting single ‘Primadonna Girl’.

As a single choice, I personally much prefer this track which was produced by Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello. It is one of the more commercial songs on the album, so could even have a chance of becoming her first Top 10 single when it is released on 9 July.

The video sees Marina dressed in slinky evening wear in a barely furnished room, seemingly playing mind games with a model who gets his top off. It’s a bit bland to be honest as I was hoping for a She Ra theme.

Nice blue tint though.
