Maroon 5: One More Night (Music Premiere)
Maroon 5 have unveiled the second single to be lifted from their forthcoming album ‘Overexposed’.
Album opener ‘One More Night’ is the follow up to the massive US hit ‘Payphone’ which sold over 493k copies in its first week of release alone, giving Maroon 5 the record for the biggest first week digital sales figures for a band.
‘Payphone’ looks set to repeat its Stateside success over here, having been released in the UK just fourteen hours ago and it has already topped the UK iTunes chart. Such was the appetite for the single, a ‘fake’ version of the track had peaked at #3 before being displaced by the official version.
‘One More Night’ has been written by frontman Adam Levine and produced by serial hitmakers Max Martin, Shellback and Savan Kotecha. Unsurprisingly with such pedigree, it has the sound of a guranteed smash, and is even more addictive on first listen than the current single.
‘One More Night’ is released to US iTunes on 19 June, whilst I’m sure we will have to wait until later this Summer before a UK release date is pencilled in.
