The Re-view
WHITNEY HOUSTON’S ‘I LOOK TO YOU’ IS RE-RECORDED TO FEATURE VOCALS FROM R KELLY, AHEAD OF RELEASE OF NEW GREATEST HITS ALBUM ‘I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU: THE BEST OF WHITNEY HOUSTON’. FULL SONG AND ALBUM TRACKLIST:
The title track from Whitney Houston’s final studio album ‘I Look To You’ has been re-recorded to feature vocals from the song’s writer and producer, R Kelly who also performed the track at the singer’s funeral in Februrary this year.
The new version of the emotional single, which criminally peaked no higher than #85 on its initial release in 2009, serves as the lead cut from a forthcoming compilation of the singer’s greatest hits, entitled ‘I Will Always Love You: The Best of Whitney Houston’.
The full tracklisting for the new, albeit rather unnecessary collection is below but it WILL feature a previously unreleased song called ‘Never Give Up’. However whilst ‘I Believe In You And Me’ gets checked, ‘Run To You’, ‘It’s Not Right But It’s Okay’, ‘I Learned From The Best’, ‘Step By Step’ and ‘Million Dollar Bill’ amongst others are neglected…
